Project / Program Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and organized Project Manager to lead and manage projects from inception through to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    Key Responsibilities

    Project / Program Manager responsibilities generally include the following:

    • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget management.
    • Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to gather project requirements, define objectives, and ensure alignment with business goals.
    • Execution: Oversee the execution of project plans, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
    • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring clear communication among team members.
    • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
    • Progress Monitoring: Track project progress, conduct regular status meetings, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
    • Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and resources, ensuring that all changes are documented and approved.
    • Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and are aligned with business objectives.
    • Post-Project Evaluation: Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and recommend improvements for future projects.
    Qualifications

    Project / Program Manager qualifications include the following:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is advantageous.
    • Experience: 8+ years of experience in project management, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from start to finish.
    • Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA etc).
    • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams toward successful project delivery.
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to stakeholders at all levels.
    • Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering solutions that meet business objectives.
    • Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
    • Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications are highly desirable.
    Preferred Qualifications

    Project / Program Manager preferred qualifications include the following:

    • Industry Experience: Experience in finance, banking or private equity is beneficial.
    • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with data platforms, analytics or artificial intelligence is an advantage.
