Power Apps / Power Automate Lead

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Power Apps & Power Automate Lead to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of custom applications and automated workflows using Microsoft’s Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that align with business goals. This role will involve close collaboration with stakeholders across the organization to deliver solutions that enhance productivity and drive innovation.

    Key Responsibilities

    Power Apps / Power Automate Lead responsibilities generally include the following:

    • Solution Design: Lead the architecture and design of custom applications and automated workflows using Power Apps, Power Automate, and related Microsoft technologies.
    • Development: Develop and implement complex Power Apps applications, Canvas and Model-Driven Apps, and sophisticated Power Automate workflows to meet business requirements.
    • Integration: Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services (e.g., SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Teams) and third-party applications to create seamless and effective workflows.
    • Governance: Establish and enforce best practices for Power Platform development, including governance, security, and performance optimization.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, IT teams, and end-users to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
    • Training & Support: Provide training and mentorship to junior developers and end-users, empowering them to leverage the Power Platform effectively.
    • Innovation: Continuously explore new features, updates, and best practices within the Power Platform ecosystem to drive innovation and improve existing solutions.
    • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of solutions, including design specifications, workflows, and user guides.
    Qualifications

    Power Apps / Power Automate Lead qualifications include the following:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
    • Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT with at least 3 years focused on the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and related tools.
    • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, and related technologies, with a deep understanding of Canvas and Model-Driven Apps, flow creation, connectors, and custom connectors.
    • Integration Experience: Hands-on experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure, and other enterprise systems.
    • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to design and implement innovative solutions that address complex business challenges.
    • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and working collaboratively across teams.
    • Project Management: Experience leading projects from conception to deployment, with a track record of delivering on time and within scope.
    • Certifications: Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., Power Platform Functional Consultant, Power Platform Developer) are a plus.
    Preferred Qualifications

    Power Apps / Power Automate Lead preferred qualifications include the following:

    • Industry Experience: Experience in fintech, banking or private equity is advantageous.
    • Additional Skills: Familiarity with Power BI, Microsoft Azure, or related cloud technologies is beneficial.
